Solution

If $x$ apple fritters cost $m$ dollars, then one apple fritter costs $\dfrac{m}{x}$ dollars. Since the price per apple fritter is known, the cost of any number of apple fritters may be calculated by multiplying $\dfrac{m}{x}$ by the desired number of apple fritters.
